South Haven Homes Gives Back

Both the Cougar Houses (for BYU) and Wolverine House (for UVU) provide an opportunity to give back to the community in a big way. Various members of the UVHBA work together to donate time, materials, plans, land, supervision, or any other element needed to build a wonderful custom home. These homes are known as the "Cougar Houses" or "Wolverine Houses", depending on the specific project, because the homes will be the means of funding scholarships at BYU or UVU in Utah respectively. Because much of the material and time is donated, when the home is sold, all the proceeds from the sale are able to be given directly to the university for endowed student scholarships. South Haven Homes donated the lot and volunteered as the general contractor for the first-ever Wolverine House in 2017. South Haven has also been involved in multiple Cougar Houses since 2015.
